The spring/summer 2024 runways were serving up major nail vibes, drawing inspo from the viral balletcore trend that’s been blowing up everywhere.
Classic styles like the French mani got a fresh makeover with chrome deets and silver chrome nails, which have been slaying since fall/winter ’23 (shoutout to Beyoncé and the Renaissance Tour), and they’re not slowing down anytime soon.
Logomania is still going strong, and those stiletto and coffin nails? They’re getting longer and more extra by the minute. Plus, short nails are still reigning supreme, thanks to the whole “clean girl” movement.
We caught up with Natalie Minerva, total nail queen and OPI Global Ambassador, to spill the tea on all the spring/summer 2024 trends that had us shook on the fashion week runways. Check it out below for the nine flyest nail trends you’ll be rockin’ this spring and summer.
- LONG NAILS
Clean, minimalist nails will never go out of style, but stiletto nails are still slayin’. The Blonds show isn’t complete without those towering, intricate tips to amp up the sultry, edgy vibes on the catwalk.
For their spring/summer 2024 show (check it out here), models were killin’ it with pointed crystal-encrusted stiletto nails, adding some extra oomph to the dark, moody makeup.
- Priscavera
At Priscavera, it was all about the chrome. Nail artist Sonji came through with 30 chrome looks for the show, from metallic green to bronze gold to clear nails blinged out with 3D embellishments.
- THE NAME GAME
Helmut Lang decided to play around with nail art for Peter Do’s runway debut as Creative Director. They kept it fresh with a simple clear mani spelling out H-E-L-M-U-T L-A-N-G in black font, a cool twist from the logo madness of past seasons. Get all the deets here.

If Scrabble ain’t your jam, show some love for your fave brand with a logo mani. Celeb nail artist Julie Kandalec hand-painted the Kate Spade dot noel monogram on nails, giving the logomania trend a dope update with a black, skinny French design to top it off.
- SKINNY FRENCH
Skinny jeans might be so last season, but skinny French manis are totally in. A thin line takes this low-key mani to Parisian chic levels.
- ALICE + OLIVIA
Remember when colorful French manis were all the rage last summer? Well, that vibe totally applies to the skinny French trend too! This red, skinny French mani pairs perfectly with a classic red lip.
- GO CHROME
Chrome nails are still poppin’ (thanks, Beyoncé) and they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. “This trend is gonna be lit for Spring/Summer—it’s versatile AF,” says Minerva.
- PRABAL GURUNG
“3D lined chrome French nails, like the ones we saw at Parabal Gurung, are gonna be major for Spring/Summer ’24,” spills Minerva. “We’re all about that futuristic French vibe,” she adds.
- BALLETCORE
Balletcore beauty gets a fresh update at Mirror Palais with this pink, pearly chrome version. “Pink pearl is always a vibe, bringing together that nostalgic feel with a modern twist,” Minerva spills.
- PAT BO
Not feelin’ the pink? You can still get in on the balletcore trend with a pearly white or vanilla chrome look.
- WHITE OUT
Saweetie once sang, “Ten white toes, I’m always tip top;” however, at Alice + Olivia, that monochromatic minimalist energy was invested in the nails.
- JASON WU
Negative space is gonna be major for manicure trends come Spring/Summer ’24, giving a minimalist mani some serious edge. “Simple lines and dots in black kept this mani so clean yet so fire,” says Minerva.
